About the Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary educational leader to assume the role of Principal at our Viewmount Branch in midtown-Toronto, serving over 950 students. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record as an educational leader and administrator, with demonstrated ability to manage complex organizations in multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive school culture that fosters pride and belonging among all stakeholders.
  • Supervise branch staff, including vice principals, teachers, teaching assistants, social workers, office staff, and security personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Head of School and Administrative Team to ensure consistency of programming across both branches.
  • Liaise with the Parent Association to facilitate smooth execution of PA programs.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working and learning environment for all members of the Bialik community.
About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate vision and mission effectively. They will possess a charismatic leadership style, be results-oriented, and able to promote educational excellence.

Requirements
  • A proven track record as an educational leader and administrator.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large and complex organizations in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong supervisory and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent people skills, with a warm, honest, and fair approach.
  • Ability to interact comfortably with various constituents, including Board Members, parents, students, donors, and community leaders.
  • Possess knowledge of and personal commitment to the State of Israel, as well as Jewish ideals, values, history, ritual, and practice.

Salary Range

$150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
