Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac ICU unit at one of our hospitals. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiac conditions.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between CAD $41.42 and CAD $59.52 per hour, based on the current market rates for similar positions in the region. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including four weeks of vacation time, health benefits, and a pension plan.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and collect information from various sources to determine their nursing needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with established standards and policies

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a degree in Nursing from a recognized institution and be currently registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. You should also possess current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and have experience working in a critical care environment.
