About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Services Nurse Specialist to join our team at Fraser Health. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in an acute medical unit.
  • Coordinate and provide nursing care according to physician and anaesthetist orders, and in conformance with established standards and hospital policies.
  • Identify actual or potential problems, plan interventions, perform planned interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Completion of Cardiology component of Post Basic Critical Care course, or post basic High Acuity Course, approved Arrhythmia interpretation course plus one year's recent experience in cardiac monitoring or telemetry unit, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
