Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef II to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in daily duties, preparing food according to specifications, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and stock stations with necessary products
  • Prepare food for service, including cutting vegetables, carving meat, and preparing sauces
  • Cook elements of dishes in collaboration with other kitchen staff
  • Make reports and follow instructions from the leader
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen
  • Properly store goods
  • Ensure dishes are ready on time and meet quality standards
  • Comply with nutrition, hygiene, and safety regulations
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with colleagues and clients
Requirements
  • Resume and advanced kitchen experience, including experience as a chef de partie, restaurant cook, or kitchen helper
  • Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of industry best practices
  • Culinary school diploma (preferred)
