Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GILANI GROUP INC. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our standards.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
Working Conditions

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
