About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2735474 Ont Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that all inventory and supplies are managed effectively to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.

Prepare Budget and Reports

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is required.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and a client-focused approach are essential for this role.
