Job Description:
The Manager – Corporate Tax role is part of our Shared Services group, supporting the business in achieving their goals through technical capabilities.
This position reports to the Global Director, Tax and is an integral part of the global tax/finance team providing leadership, technical expertise, and executing on tax planning strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Support business units and commercial teams with research and recommendations minimizing tax exposure and complying with tax requirements.
- Manage Canadian corporate tax audit issues and queries, including T2 tax returns, Foreign Affiliate reporting, surplus calculations, and estimated payments.
- Coordinate US Corporate Tax Provision & Compliance, overseeing and reviewing work with external advisors (big 4 accounting firm).
- Maintain global transfer pricing documentation, including updating Master and Local File requirements globally, Country by Country reporting requirements, W-8BEN, W9, Tax Residence Certificates, and cross-border payment administration.

Requirements:
- 5 to 6 years of relevant work experience in public accounting and/or tax consulting.
- Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Extensive knowledge of Canadian Tax, with experience in US tax compliance and international tax an asset.
- Solid understanding of business, accounting, and management principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
