Financial Reporting Analyst

Overview:
The Financial Reporting Analyst position is responsible to provide key financial insight to corporate head offices, senior management, and field stakeholders on internal and external financial reporting including balance sheet and P&L analysis within a multi-divisional GL structure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Record and analyze the impact on our annual operating plan of strategies initiated by the HR function (e.g. pension, benefits, WCB)
- Act as the technical professional for benefits accounting for PepsiCo Foods Canada
- Complete benefits and intercompany journal entries and analyze results
- Ensure timely reconciliation and presentation of all assigned Balance Sheet accounts.
- Reconciling items are kept to a minimum and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Complete benefits reporting for the annual tax package
- Project work

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Accounting designation or active pursuit of an accounting designation is required
- Proven technical accounting knowledge
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- SAP experience is an asset
