About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and custodians to ensure that data assets and related data lineage are clear and understood.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository for data assets and a business glossary.
  • Establish and enforce reference data standards and manage reference data sets.
  • Monitor and track usage of data assets to understand and report on patterns and trends.
  • Generate reports on data asset utilization and identify opportunities to optimize usage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Management, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or Informatics.
  • Proven experience in data governance, with a focus on metadata, reference, and master data.
  • Strong understanding of data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
