Job Summary

BioVectra Inc. is a leading bio-science business in the industry, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installing and relocating research and process equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and plumbing systems.
  • Performing diagnostics and repairs on process and research equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Aiding in analytical troubleshooting to detect irregularities in equipment and provide quick solutions.
  • Providing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on research and industrial equipment in a lab and/or production environment.
  • Updating maintenance records in CMMS and other information systems throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-Secondary Education Diploma from a Mechanical or Electrical trade program or engineering technician program.
  • Post-Secondary Trades certification with a minimum of 3 years experience in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of Standard Operating/Work Procedures as part of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
