Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $52.63 per hour, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package including dental insurance, vision care, and pension.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a university degree or college diploma in engineering, business administration, commerce, medical science, or another relevant field. A graduate degree would be an asset but is not required.
You will have substantial work experience as a manager, with strong research skills, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations. You must be patient, dependable, enthusiastic, and well organized, with no criminal record, especially no financial crimes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring the company's profitability.
- Preparing and presenting annual reports.
- Reviewing company cash flow.
- Establishing an overarching yet flexible company policy for employees.
- Advising and managing executives in their planning and decision-making.
- Overseeing budgets and ensuring proper funding when important resources are required.
- Monitoring, and making necessary changes to, financial and accounting activities to safeguard corporate finances and assets.
- Establishing a company dividend policy.
- Declaring dividends and payouts.
- Leading crisis management efforts.
- Protecting the interests of shareholders.
- Scheduling and leading board meetings.
- Establishing agendas for board meetings.
- Handling conflicts of interest among directors on the board of directors.
