Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT needs are met with efficiency and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related tasks on PCs, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Handle software installation, support, and upgrades to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Provide deskside support services, installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Offer 1st-level Help Desk support, responding to customer inquiries and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking activities to maintain a stable and secure network environment.
  • Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to diagnose problems, establish ETA, and determine parts requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and deployment-related activities.
  • 1-2 years of deskside support experience, with a strong understanding of internetworking and troubleshooting principles.
  • A+ certification and/or other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, with a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
