About the Role:
The Sidecut Server Assistant is a vital member of our team, responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This role requires a strong commitment to service and teamwork, as well as excellent communication skills and a thorough knowledge of our menu and wine offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Support our servers by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, clearing tables, and resetting.
- Serve and clear all food and beverage items, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Complete opening and closing side-work as assigned, ensuring that all areas of the restaurant are prepared for service.
- Set all tables according to standards, ensuring a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere.
- Have a thorough understanding of our menu and wine offerings, able to describe food items to guests and answer any questions they may have.
- Break down displays or side stations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Monitor overall restaurant cleanliness, ensuring that our high standards are met.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in food and beverage, preferably in a fine dining environment.
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage products, including wine.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
- Ability to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
- Ability to work in Canada.
