Our Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler is situated in the heart of the village, providing easy access to world-class skiing, hiking, and mountain biking trails, as well as a range of upscale amenities and services.

About the Role:

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server Assistant to join our team at Sidecut Steakhouse. As a Server Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, working closely with our servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the timing and organization of food orders at the kitchen line
  • Ensure accuracy of orders with strong attention to detail regarding allergies and special requests
  • Provide exceptional service to guests during dinner service, including delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, and clearing tables
  • Support the server team by resetting tables, monitoring restaurant cleanliness, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our menu and be able to describe food items to guests, as well as answer any questions about the menu
  • Participate in pre-service and post-service duties, including setting up and breaking down displays and side stations

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in food and beverage, preferably in a fine-dining environment
  • Solid knowledge of food and beverage products, including wine
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Excellent commitment to service and teamwork
  • Ability to obtain a Serving It Right certificate
  • Ability to work in Canada
