Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager, IT Services, as a front-line member of the team, the incumbent is responsible for the support and delivery of IT services to the organization's internal clients. He/she ensures that equipment and software are kept operational and in good condition, ensures that FPInnovations technology related issues are resolved in a timely manner and maintains a secure computing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the daily activities of the team (team meetings, involvement in team projects, etc.).
- Deploy protection for instrumentation computers
- Install, configure new user computers
- Respond to requests from internal customers regarding the use of computer and telecommunication technologies
- Adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
Requirements
- Be registered in Cegep, in a relevant studies program.
- Be available for the Autumn 2024 Internship.
