About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Breezy Corners. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to prepare and present high-quality dishes.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus, ensure food quality, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Plan and execute special events, such as banquets, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and supervise staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen demands and priorities.
