Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Employee Relations: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
  • Administrative Tasks: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
