Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying staffing requirements, screening applicants, and advising managers on staffing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, ensuring that all necessary information is provided.
  • Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for hiring.
  • Arrange interviews with potential applicants and notify them of the outcome.
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill staffing needs.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring that all necessary information is provided.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, ensuring that all necessary requirements are met.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 32 hours per week. The language of work is English.
