Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying staffing requirements, screening applicants, and advising managers on staffing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring a diverse and qualified pool of candidates
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for hiring
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, promoting employee development and growth
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work setting
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 32-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail.
