Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying staffing requirements, screening applicants, and advising managers on staffing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring a diverse and qualified pool of candidates
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for hiring
  • Coordinate interviews and selection processes, ensuring a fair and transparent approach
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill staffing gaps
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 32-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
