Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at A&W (Uxbridge). As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation and portioning.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Hire and manage food service staff.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Address customer complaints and concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Our restaurant is located in an urban area and is a fast-paced environment. As a Shift Manager, you will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
