Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our restaurant staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is properly managed.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running efficiently.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that our operations are properly managed.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that our restaurant is meeting its goals and objectives.
  • Team Management
    • Manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills are required for this position.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a standing position.
