Verve Senior Living is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to older adults. Our team is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our residents, and we're seeking a skilled and compassionate Health and Wellness Attendant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to residents, including cognitive, social, and emotional support, in accordance with individualized care plans and established standards of care.
  • Participate in the Verve Quality Improvement (VQI) program, ensuring continuous improvement in the delivery of care and services.
  • Perform nursing care procedures, follow routine practices, and comply with infection control protocols to ensure the health and safety of residents.
  • Assist in delivering Life Enrichment programs and activities, promoting a engaging and stimulating environment for residents.
  • Complete accurate and legible nursing documentation, maintaining health records in compliance with relevant legislations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the outcome of specific interventions, offering suggestions for improvement and contributing to the continuous improvement of care and services.

Requirements

  • Has obtained a certificate from an approved Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker program.
  • Has completed a minimum of grade 12.
  • Preference given to individuals with experience in long-term care or retirement residence.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English is required.
  • A resident-oriented individual, whose visions and values align with those of Verve Senior Living.

Additional Qualifications

  • HCA REGISTRY is required.
  • Medication Administration Certificate is required.
