ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE
Under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering tailored care to residents. Your duties will include adhering to care plans, policies, and maintaining exemplary standards of service.
BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker program
- Minimum grade 12 education
- Preference for candidates with experience in long-term care or retirement communities
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
- Flexible availability for various shifts (days, evenings, nights)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engagement in the Verve Quality Improvement (VQI) initiative
- Delivering comprehensive care to residents with an emphasis on cognitive, social, and emotional support
- Executing nursing procedures in accordance with care standards and infection control measures
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Completing mandatory training requirements
- Assisting in Life Enrichment programs
- Maintaining accurate nursing documentation
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of interventions
- Providing support to other care providers as necessary
Additional Qualifications
- HCA REGISTRY is required
- MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION CERTIFICATE
