Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Clerk to join our team at Island Health. This role is responsible for coordinating staffing activities, ensuring efficient scheduling and effective communication with staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate staffing activities, including scheduling, leave management, and onboarding new employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee information, attendance, and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with staff members, managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent education, combined with three years' recent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to operate computer software applications and maintain accurate records.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
