Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Staffing Clerk at Island Health.
Estimated Salary$50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the JobThis position plays a crucial role in managing workforce data and ensuring efficient staffing processes. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage employee records and data entry.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on staff qualifications and certifications.
- Coordinate recruitment activities and assist in interviewing candidates.
- Analyze and report on workforce trends and metrics.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent keyboarding skills (45 wpm) and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively and physically perform the duties of the position.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems.
