Position Overview
The Churchill Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing clerical support in various areas of the Health Centre, including scheduling, answering phones, greeting the public, maintaining files, and coordinating meetings.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Health Centre team, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, and databases.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and projects, as required.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or diploma in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a health care setting or equivalent experience in an administrative capacity.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP and ESP.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
