Administrative Support Specialist

Position Overview
The Churchill Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing clerical support in various areas of the Health Centre, including scheduling, answering phones, greeting the public, maintaining files, and coordinating meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to health centre staff, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient files and staff information.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and projects, as required.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or diploma in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a health care setting or equivalent experience in an administrative capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as required.
