Position Overview

The Churchill Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled and organized Clerk to provide administrative support to our team. This role is ideal for an individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support to the Health Centre team, including scheduling, answering phones, and maintaining files.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, including preparing reports and presentations.
  • Work cooperatively with staff to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff, including internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year working in a health care setting.
  • Similar equivalent working experience(s) in an administrative capacity may be acceptable.
  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in cross-functional areas with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in multiple formats.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge working with SAP and ESP.
  • Ability to act with initiative, judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
