The OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as the SkillHouse & Global Programs Manager. This role will design, develop, and deliver training programs, workshops, and resources to enhance skill development and knowledge on entrepreneurship and technology skills.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop customized training programs, including workshops, materials, and resources, to targeted learners within Canada and globally.
- Work closely with the ecosystem to determine training needs and identify potential participants' learning objectives.
- Create Professional Services Agreements (PSAs) and supervise external vendors hired as expert content developers.
- Collaborate with DMZ Directors to define revenue generation and business development opportunities.
- Evaluate teaching technologies and communicate research findings to the Senior Director.
- Determine and make recommendations to the DMZ leadership about the financial and operational requirements for SkillHouse.
- Hire and manage staff, external facilitators, and vendors.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A post-secondary degree in business, entrepreneurship, digital media communications, design, and technology, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing instructional training workshops, including content/curriculum development.
- Experience developing eLearning strategies, including familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Professional certification in Learning, such as certified training and development professional.
- Proven track record in delivering instructional workshops and conducting needs analyses to determine learning objectives.
