Global Youth Climate Training Program Coordinator

Program Overview
The Global Youth Climate Training Program is a collaborative initiative between The United Church of Canada and the Global Youth Coalition, a coalition of climate youth changemakers. This program aims to equip young adults with the knowledge and confidence necessary to engage in international climate policy.
Program Objectives
- To provide a comprehensive capacity-building program for young adults aged 16-35
- To equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage in international climate policy
- To foster a strong international and intergenerational collaboration among participants
Program Structure
The program will consist of a series of online sessions, held between 1-5 pm UTC, with timings adjusted to suit the cohort's time zones. Sessions will be delivered by a team of experts from The United Church of Canada and the Global Youth Coalition.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 16-35 years old
- Interest in climate change and international policy
- Ability to commit to the program schedule
Application Process
Interested young adults can apply directly through the program's online application form. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and selected participants will be notified accordingly.
