Global Village Program Manager

Habitat for Humanity Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Village Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Global Village program and contributing to its future growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development and implementation of internal Global Village processes, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver annual Global Village work plans and budgets in collaboration with relevant teams domestically and internationally.
  • Provide financial oversight and management to the Global Village teams, including budgeting, expense reporting, and financial acquittals.
  • Oversee Global Village safety and security procedures, including policy review and training, with a focus on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and crisis management.
  • Develop and roll out the Global Village Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning plan, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and impact evaluations.
  • Manage volunteer logistics, including registration, fundraising, and build budgets, as well as provide support to volunteer team leaders and host country coordinators.
  • Coordinate the development of program communications collateral and implement a Global Village communication strategy in coordination with Communications & Partnerships teams.
  • Develop and maintain the Global Village website with up-to-date information, including build schedules, fundraising resources, and FAQs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management, volunteer management, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, such as international development, non-profit management, or volunteer management.
  • Intermediate financial literacy skills, including budgeting, expense reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent cross-cultural interpersonal skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, coaching, and relationship development.
  • Experience working with web-based platforms, digital tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise, and well-organized written materials.
