Job Title: Laundromat Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to join our team at P & D Cleaning Services. As a Laundromat Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our laundromat facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the laundromat facilities are clean and well-maintained, including washing machines, dryers, and folding tables.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, including ensuring the laundromat is free from hazards and maintaining a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Perform tasks as required to maintain the laundromat facilities, including cleaning, restocking, and performing minor repairs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or in a related field (e.g. laundry, cleaning) is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • May be required to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Hours of Work:
  • 32-40 hours per week.
