Laundromat Attendant Job Description

P & D Cleaning Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to join our team. As a Laundromat Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with special needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including laundry equipment and facilities
  • Deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner
  • Operate laundry equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The Laundromat Attendant will work in a rural area, providing laundry services to the local community. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours and Work Term:

The Laundromat Attendant will work 32 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
