We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team at Ponoka Physiotherapy and Acupuncture clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Administer a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and discomfort in clients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify areas of tension and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, risks, and benefits, and to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided to clients.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
- Experience in a private practice setting is an asset.
