About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and families to facilitate, restore, and maintain optimal levels of function in areas of self-care, productivity, and leisure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation, assessment, treatment, evaluation, and follow-up services to clients
  • Establish individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with clients
  • Manage a busy caseload and prioritize issues using clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers
  • Contribute to the clinical education of OT students and related health disciplines
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Occupational Therapy. You must be licensed with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. A commitment to promoting a culture of respect and safety is essential.
