Job Title: Pediatric Emergency Clinician

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide critical mental health services to pediatric patients and their families in emergency departments across our region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and provide individual, family, and group interventions to pediatric patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with emergency department staff, community mental health teams, and other service providers.
  • Provide crisis intervention and short-term follow-up treatment to pediatric patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with emergency department staff, community mental health teams, and other service providers to ensure effective patient flow and discharge planning.
  • Document assessments, care plans, and interventions according to practice standards and Fraser Health procedures.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counselling, or a related health discipline.
  • Two years' recent related clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health, including assessment, individual, family, and group interventions.
  • Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle with appropriate business insurance coverage for work-related purposes.
