Senior Environmental Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will be responsible for conducting environmental site assessments, remediation projects, and providing technical expertise to clients in the nuclear industry.
About the Role:
- You will work with a team of professionals to conduct investigations and remediation works related to nuclear and conventional contaminants.
- Liaise with clients to scope potential works, resolve issues, and promote WSP's services.
- Manage projects, including Phase 1 ESAs, Phase 2 ESAs, remediation, excess soil management, and risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Professional certification (P.Eng., P.Geo)
- 10+ years of experience in environmental site assessment, with working knowledge of relevant regulations (O.Reg. 153/04, O.Reg. 406/19)
- Experience related to radiological contaminants, dose assessment, radiation protection processes, and/or associated instrumentation
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for health and safety
