About the Role

We are looking for an experienced project leader who can oversee capital projects from conceptualization to commercial production. The successful candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strategically managing a portfolio of capital projects with budgets ranging from $250k to $5MM, ensuring timely completion and within budget constraints.
  • Leading multi-disciplinary project teams, including engineers, technical resources, operations personnel, construction teams, and vendors, to achieve seamless integration and execution of project elements.
  • Maintaining detailed project economics, establishing clear business and project objectives, and providing transparent communication regarding project progression to internal stakeholders.
  • Integrating INVISTA's commitment to safety and environmental stewardship by incorporating Management of Change protocols and Hazard Analysis methodologies into project design and execution.
  • Captitalizing on opportunities for value creation and innovation within the manufacturing process through deep-seated process engineering expertise.
  • Coordinating and guiding cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of complex work scopes, particularly for tasks with higher associated hazards.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three or more years' manufacturing or project experience within an industrial setting.
