Job Summary

The Assistant Manager II is a key member of the leadership team at EssilorLuxottica Group, driving the success of Sunglass Hut. This role oversees daily store functions, including sales, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition, and retail excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Coaching: Utilize company tools to deliver sales plans, develop associates, and achieve company objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Identify and address performance gaps, capitalize on successes using reporting tools and business acumen.
  • Associate Development: Provide ongoing coaching to support growth and development, creating an inspirational and motivating work environment.
  • Talent Acquisition: Acquire talent by utilizing networking and recruiting skills, conducting interviews in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
  • Self-Development: Seek opportunities for self-development as defined in an individual development plan.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain customer relationships by maximizing company tools.
  • Brand Standards: Consistently execute brand standards.
  • Store Merchandising: Maintain store merchandising standards, including updates or changes.
  • Product Knowledge: Know product knowledge and use company learning tools to stay current on new products in both fashion and performance.
  • Operational Execution: Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures.
  • Team Communication: Ensure clear communication to the team of brand strategy, including promotions, contests, and incentives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience.
  • Expertise: Demonstrates expertise in every aspect of store operation.
  • Detail-Oriented: Detail-oriented.
  • Critical Thinking: Uses critical thinking to deliver absolute execution of operational components.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service: Customer service and/or retail experience.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience of 1+ years.
