Job Title: Special Events Organizer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Special Events Organizer to join our team at SUNRAY GROUP OF HOTELS INC.

Job Summary:

The Special Events Organizer will be responsible for promoting conference and meeting services, developing marketing and communication plans, and coordinating logistics for special events. This is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote conference and meeting services to clients and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication plans to increase event attendance and engagement
  • Coordinate logistics for special events, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment
  • Assist in budget preparation and management for events
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products
  • Monitor and evaluate event success, making recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in event planning or a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma in hospitality or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
