About the Role

The Coordinator, Special Events will be responsible for the logistical coordination of our annual golf tournaments and other events. This role will support the Special Events Officer in achieving revenue and participation goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the logistics for our annual golf tournaments and other events.
  • Work with vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and event participants.
  • Provide administrative support to the portfolio.
  • Assist with management and organization of fundraising events.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant program or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years work experience in fundraising, sales, event coordination, marketing, and/or not-for-profit.
  • Demonstrated experience working on special events and working with volunteers.
  • Experience with email marketing, social media, and with tools such as Canva.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with digital technology.
  • Achievement-oriented; a goal-setter.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and responsive.
  • Collaborative relationship-builder.
  • Computer proficiency including experience with social media.
