Indigenous Employment Program Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Indigenous Employment Coordinator to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in promoting employment opportunities for Indigenous peoples.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment activities to engage with local Indigenous communities
- Stakeholder engagement to build partnerships and promote employment initiatives
- Coordination of placements to support career advancement and skill development
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
- Relevant work experience in Indigenous employment, community outreach, or a related field
- Awareness of Indigenous history, culture, and the importance of reconciliation
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, proficiency in both official languages (English and French) is an asset.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including RRSP matching and career advancement opportunities.
