About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Service Manager to join our team at Blaze Gourmet Burgers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering services, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the catering budget to optimize profits and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Menu Planning and Pricing: Collaborate with our culinary team to modify food preparation methods and menu prices to ensure alignment with our budget and customer preferences.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of catering staff, including recruiting, training, and scheduling.
  • Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily catering operations, including event management, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other catering supplies.
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including tracking expenses and revenues.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a catering or food service management role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, on-the-road job with a variable schedule of 30-40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
