Position Overview

The Catering Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the catering operations within Coast Hotels. This role involves managing various aspects of food service and event planning to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Planning: Identify the types of catering services to be provided and establish effective operational protocols.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations throughout all catering activities.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Engage with suppliers to secure favorable terms for food and other necessary supplies.
  • Client Engagement: Negotiate catering arrangements and facility usage with clients to meet their needs.
  • Marketing Involvement: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies for catering services.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of events to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of post-secondary education, such as a College or CEGEP program.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in catering or food service management.
