About Us
The Department of Health and Wellness invites applications for the position of Patient Experience Lead. As a valued member of the System Integration Digital Health team, this role is responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the patient experience within the Nova Scotia Health System and providing insights on impactful actions to strategically improve the digital delivery of care.
About Our Opportunity
This position reports to the Director Digital Strategy & Governance and is focused on enhancing patient experiences and insights as they interact with the Health System, emphasizing how their digital journey has been supported and improved.
Primary Accountabilities
- Identify patient needs through data, insights, and engagement to guide our investments in digital solutions.
- Support the development of policy and guidelines as it relates to patients.
- Act as a compassionate leader advocating on behalf of patients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have a bachelor's degree plus 6 years of progressive experience in a related field. An acceptable equivalent combination of training or experience may be considered.

Working Conditions
- Normal work week is 35 hours/week, 7 hours/day
- May be required to work overtime on occasion
