Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Attendant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting patient care activities, including assisting with patient movement and transportation, cleaning equipment and work areas, and maintaining equipment and handling sterile items.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess a Grade 12 or equivalent, and current certifications in CPR and WHIMIS. Previous experience as a Patient Attendant and working in an ER environment are considered assets. You must be able to respond quickly to unexpected situations, work effectively in emergency situations, and lift and move patients using proper body mechanics and/or lifting devices.
