Strategic Human Resources Coordinator

At Mon Sheong, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their expertise in recruitment, retention, and human resources administration.
Job SummaryThis role plays a vital part in supporting the Director of Human Resources and other members of the team by coordinating recruitment functions, ensuring compliance with health and safety programs, maintaining accurate human resources databases, and providing administrative support.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of employment legislation and regulations, as well as experience working with HRIS systems. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Main Responsibilities- Full Cycle Recruitment: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing job postings, advertising roles, screening candidates, conducting phone interviews, scheduling interviews, performing reference checks, extending job offers, and facilitating onboarding processes.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure timely completion of accident/injury reports to WSIB and support return-to-work procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- JHSC Meetings and Workplace Inspections: Participate in joint health and safety committee meetings and attend workplace inspections as required to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- HR File Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date and accurate human resources files and records, adhering to relevant legislation and organizational policies.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with payroll personnel to ensure seamless new hire administrations, terminations, and payroll record updates in accordance with bi-weekly pay cycles.
- HRIS and Training System Maintenance: Update and maintain the HR information system and training platform to ensure data accuracy and employee engagement.
- Support to HR Projects: Assist in various HR projects and initiatives as required, promoting a positive work environment and enhancing employee experience.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the organization.
