ON TARIO INC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our users, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer systems and networks, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
  • Report on the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Respond to user inquiries, providing guidance and advice on software usage and troubleshooting.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, working closely with developers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Provide customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or college degree required.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills essential.
