At RS Sapphire Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced technical support professional who can provide top-notch service to our clients.
Job DescriptionThe Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
This includes giving access to computer networks, reporting on performance, responding to user inquiries, consulting user guides and manuals, and providing advice and training.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and hold a non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
Responsibilities- Giving access to computer networks and ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Reporting on the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.
- Responding to user inquiries and providing advice and training in response to identified difficulties.
- Consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
- Collecting, organizing, and maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
- Participating in the redesign of applications and other software, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective solutions.
- Supervising other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
- Providing business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
- Performing Web-server backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Providing customer service, managing incidents, and resolving issues efficiently.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
